Business Analyst

BeZero is looking for a junior business analyst to join our rapidly growing team. You will help to enable growth by working across our business and technology teams to tech-enable client delivery.

We want to find an intellectually curious, collaborative problem solver who really gets the value of digital. You need to be excited to work with an innovative start-up, ambitious to rethink and rebuild a decarbonised economy.

Overview

BeZero Carbon is a full service climate solutions business taking a systematic approach to drive systematic change. We partner with clients to decarbonise businesses. We design high quality offset strategies, based on our ratings framework, to achieve carbon neutrality. We align economic and conservation outcomes to fund natural capital assets.

This role will be focused on the data, workflows and functionality required to deliver these services. The successful candidate will define requirements, validate solutions and support BeZero’s systems delivery.

What we are looking for

  • An entrepreneurial, can-do attitude, taking ownership of delivery
  • A collaborative approach to deliver the most appropriate solutions as we grow
  • Focus on driving progress with adaptability to respond to shifting priorities
  • Experience managing and controlling scope
  • Experience defining data and functional requirements
  • Experience with Agile or similar iterative ways of working
  • Familiarity working with engineering teams and application development
  • Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical people

Your experience

You will have 2-3 years experience working on projects with business users and technology teams. You may have recently completed the graduate training programme at a consultancy, or in-house, and be looking for an exciting challenge in a small, dynamic business.

Salary

The salary is £30-40k depending on experience, with the potential for equity-based performance-related pay.
